Deer on the move

I know everyone is getting ready for the opener this weekend as am I and I know everyone has been seeing alot of activity but I always gauge good weekends on road kill on 24 between Jasper and Chatt. Last year I killed a good 8 pointer after seeing carcases starty pileing up on the side of the highway. Well, this moring I seen the first two unfortunate deer ground up like hamburg. This to me is always the start of the hot running for does and I hope everyone has a great gun opener, I know I cant wait for the sun to break day come Saturday morning. Good Luck to all.

thanks man. good thinking on the road kill. theyre not moving as well down here as they are up there, i dont think. our rut really kicks in in january

I don't know if the rut has really kicked in here yet, If it hasn't it may by the weekend, I was working over at the voltswagon site tuesday, And seen a giant, He was just wondering around like he was looking for food not many trees there anymore, But he was pretty close to a herd of does.
