sometimes my processor doesn't include ribs when i get a deer butchered, sometimes he does, and i sometimes to forget to ask, ,and only find out when i'm unpacking the box. anyway, if you have some short ribs, there's not a ton of meat on them, but here's what i do and it usually turns out pretty good.
take ribs, season to taste. i honestly cannot tell you exactly what all i put on there, if it smells good, i use it. pepper, lil cajun shake, thyme, lil salt, and usually a couple more spices.
put in crockpot.
depending on how many ribs, but my last batch probably had 4 sets of 5-6 ribs,
bout a half a jar of cajun injector marinade 'honey bacon bbq'
little less than that amt. of water.
turn on low when you leave for work, enjoy when you get home.
honestly i believe my ribs taste better than when i grill tenderloin, and i LOVE grilled deer tenderloin. i cooked some for my roommates this week and they were amazed.
