Take a large pot and get it hot. Drop in some butter. Brown half a diced onion and a clove of garlic. Use tongs to brown all sides of the roast. Once the entire piece is seared, cover it in water and let boil. Let it boil hard for 4 hours like a roast. Take it off the heat and let it cool, let it sit in the ice box for a couple hours. After its has gotten cool you will want to remove all of the fat and tallow that collects at the top. Return to a meduium heat and add veggies (celery, carrotts, beans, etc...). Allow to boil for at least an hour. Add salt to taste..voila!
