With the cold weather here there is nothing like a good deer stew to warm up the body and soul.

2 lbs of deer burger browned.
About half way of browning the meat throw in one large diced onion and let it saute.
Once the meat is cooked and the onions are soft drain the fat and liquid.
Add garlic powder and Cajun seasoning, if you are lucky enough to have it use monkey dust to taste.
Now pour in about four mugs of water.
Take about four potatoes and dice them, drop into mixture.
Take about three carrots and dice them, drop into mixture. Now add.....
One can of tomatoes condensed soup.
One can of tomatoes paste.
One can of whole corn.
One can of cut green beans.
One can of pinto beans.
Two stalks of chopped celery.
Pepper to taste.
Worcestershire Sauce about a fourth cup.
Greek seasoning to taste.
Hot sauce to taste.
Bring all to a boil, then turn down to simmer. When the potatoes and carrots can be cut with a fork it is ready. emoHungry

I also like to eat mine with a pan of corn bread. emoTongue Jmax

omg how nasty sounding.lol

This is what I had last night watching the games. emoThumbsup My better half, son and I pigged out on some good ol' southern cooking deer stew. I like the deer better then beef since it has so much less fat. If you have no deer burger it works just as well with diced roast or regular hamburger. emoHungry Jmax
