Hey guys I am going to Destin FL this Sat . And Sun I was wanting to go fishing . Is there any boat anyone of you would recomend. I went out on the Swoop last year had a great time but did'nt catch that many fish of course it was March. Have any of you went out on any of the party boats you would recommend. Or could a guy get lucky and maybe find a smaller charter down there that might need one person to make the trip any info is greatly appreciated

Fish-on charters. Jimbo Bishop in Grayton beach. 500 dollars for 4 hour trip he can take 4 people. You will catch more in a 4 hour trip than you can on a 10 out of destin, panama city, or orange beach. PM if you want the number. Fishing Machine is going with him this friday i think.

I have known him for 3 years now and he is a great guy and a super charter!

i have fished several times out of destin with olin marler charters. they have several boats, capt. frank teams (or teems) if he's still there always did well for us. they have been chartering fishing out of destin for a couple of generations.

Try the New Fl Girl or the American Spirit. I would suggest to take some frozen cigar minnows as this is snapper candy.
Plus, fish up in the water column as the larger snappers hand there. Try several turns on the reel.

I agree with fishheadspin. Ive fished with alot of different boats in Destin, they all used to be pretty good. Now you Pay $1000 or more for a boat ride. I would also recommend Fish- on Charters. Its a father- son team and not owned by a big corporation like many of the Destin fleet boats. They are very easy to get along with and we always caught lots of fish and your fishing within 10 mins of getting on the boat.

We have always used Fish-n-Fool in Destin.Capts name is Mike Eller and we have used him for about 15 yrs.We were just down there this past may for our annual trip.He sure can put you on some fish. His phone Number is 837-9401 can't remember area code

Is it Fish-On or Dead Fish charters that's in Grayton?

They both fish out of Grayton. Either of them is a fine outfit to fish with. Dead fish has a web site I think. Fish On doesnt have one yet, He relies on his customers spreading the word. I think thays why he tries to make you sure everyone enjoys thier trip.

i have been with Larry on the Deadfish once and Jimbo at Fish-on several times. Both are very good captains. Jimbo is a little more of the good ole boy type that i like to fish with. He works his tail off for you. Very good with kids too. he will make sure they catch fish!
