Just a short little video report for those interested in this area. Double Bull Reds - We located a school sight fishing on the way back in from offshore - I shot a bit of footage of a double Captain Carl Sheline and Bob Painter enjoyed in the warm sunshine then we went back and found one for me too. Also scored 12 snapper with one bonus big snapper on light tackle, 25 white trout and the biggest black sea bass I have ever seen out of Indian Pass.
We did not have a bottom machine this trip as someone decided to take it for an indefinite period a few months ago. Most fish caught on handheld GPS on a few numbers I had.
Water temps are rising and fish are hungry for Spring Break with my kids this week...unfortunately wind/weather does not look to be cooperating the next few days so not sure if I will see another day like this in March - but its about to become alive everywhere on the forgotten coast in a week or so! I estimate water temps to be 65-67.
