This is a really unique rod that eliminates the hassle of getting tangled with other rods. It only has one guide and that is to direct the line "into" the rod. It has a rifled barrel and shoots the line out of it. It does have one small crack above the reel seat (not the rod itself) that does not have any effect. It comes with a threading wire to help get the line through. It is extremely light and sensitive. (I also have a spinning rod that is identical and for sale as well).
