What is the quickest way to get to Mullins Cove and where exactly is it located.

Is putting you boat in at Sullivans the best way? I know some good fish can be caught there. Is it fed by a natural creek?

It has a natural creek feeding it but not enough volume to change water temps or anythig like that....the creek will muddy it up a little after the rains.

Becareful entering the cove and running around in there. It's a great place to fish almost anytime of year but there are some nasty shallow spots and bars in there. Be sure to check your maps.

I find it easier to launch from hales bar on Nickajack. Fishbum is right though..... Be carfull in there. You can break a prop in a heart beat......emoFish

The ramp at Hales bar has been long gone. There is a ramp just up the road, between Hales and HWY41. Although i think the distance is about the same from Hales to Mullins or Sullivans to Mullins.
