DJ's Marine Electronics July Night CBA Open

I would like to welcome everyone to come out and fish with us this weekend for our 2nd night event of the season. This tournament is a little bit different from the day tournaments so here are the details... This event will be held at Chester Frost State Park.

You will sign up for this tournament at the ramp. DO NOT GO TO THE SIGN-UP LOCATIONS. THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SIGN YOU UP.

Sign-ups will go from 6:00- 7:45 on Saturday before the tournament. We will be over by the scale house taking up entries.

Hours: 8PM-8AM
5 fish limit; 15" LM, 18#SM (1 per person), and 12"SPOT
Entry Fee: $120 per boat
Payback: $2,000/Guaranteed 1st place, 1 place for every 5 full entries

We are an open format trail so even if you haven't fished any of our tournaments this year but like to fish night tournaments then please come out and join us.

Guys, please bring enough ice and water treatment to take care of your fish. This is going to be a long and hot tournament. I know a lot of people will turn there aerators on slower cycles or turn them off to conserve battery. Don't do this it will kill fish. If you are worried about your battery then fish with the big motor running for a while. THE NEW RULE ON DEAD FISH WILL APPLY TO THIS EVENT. YOU CAN ONLY WEIGH 1 DEAD FISH (1/2 POUND PENALTY), AND YOU CANNOT CULL A DEAD FISH.

I would like to personally invite everyone out to the TX. If my employers don't find somewhere for me to go at the last minute I will be there with you. I think I will fish from 8 Pm to Midnight, sleep from midnight to 5 am , and fish from 5 til 7:30. Is that allowed? Hopefully I will be able to find a few fish and you guys will be able to find a boatload. I will also have a couple extra door prizes to give out as well. Look forward to seeing you in the dark!

I've never fished a CBA before and Ronnie and I are thinking about it. We have done good in CFF so I guess its time to step up and go bigger at a chance to win $2000. But winning it would be great w/o money, with all the ringers that fish it and the Bearded Wizard being the supreme to us all.

Yes Shane, I am fishing the king frog which weighs in at 4:00 est, then I am headed straight to Chick to fish with you guys. Dumbest thing I have done in a while...havent fished but once in the last 4 weeks and I am gonna go for like 30 hours straight.
