Do you make fun of High Point firearms?

Alot of people have been shot and even killed with High Point. Not a bad throw down option.

Take a 200$ gun and put that much money sure it will shoot well but man out of the box they are complete garbage lol. Even after that it still is ugly IMO

$4300???? Do you know how many real guns that would buy. emoLaugh

Totally incorrect. They are ugly as sin, heavy as a basket of bricks, but function like a dream. I don't own one, but wouldn't mind having one straped to the four wheeler.

Totally correct. I never said it didn't fire or function, I said it's garbage and they are, horribly heavy trigger pull, when you rack one in the chamber they feel like they are made with sand pitted into the slide and they weigh about as much as Jmax's head. I've owned several I took on trade and I currently have a Hi-Point carbine consuming space in my safe, fun to shoot but no way in hell I'd use it for protection. Also, at one point in time they had a lot of problems with the magazines having some type of spring fatigue causing problems loading the next round into the chamber. I'm sure it's been corrected long ago though.

Ok just watched the first minute of the video...it jammed once in 5 shots....not something most would want to protect their life or family with. Video looks interesting so I'll watch the rest but they just proved my point.

I won't go so far as to say it's a great carry gun, the weight excludes it from that right off the bat. Having a jam, I can show you many brands that cost 4 time the money that do the same thing. As far as overall reliabilty, they rank way up there.

The jam could be the round too. Either way they are ugly, over weight and cheap looking, that video is great though.

4 times too! Not to mention 2 shells beat in the barrel. Those fellers gave the guns pure hell! But that last 1 got it. ..of.course the rest of the barrel was packed in powder. lmao! They do seem very VERY picky about ammo and quite heavy/bulky but hell...I'd keep a few around. May Iook at one soon if my back heals up!!

I have a few hand guns and I also have a carry permit. In the case that I had to use one in self defiance I would choose the high point, just because even if you are in the right with shooting someone that gun is gone for years, if you get it back. So I would rather loose a 45 that I paid $145.00 for than a kimber that I have over $1000 in. Just a note the high points are just as accurate as my kimber, colt, and sig.

my wife had a hp 380 it kept us from getting eat by some wild dogs once we was fishing alone the bank down in the woods and i kept 6 wild dogs off us long enough to get in the truck then i came out with the EAA witness and killed 2 of them and shot another the rest ran off but the h p worked great
