Has anyone ever used one of the electric trailer dolly to move you boat into area's where you could not use your tow vehicle? I would like to know brand name and how it worked. Also where to purchase in Chattanoog area.

Thanks

Yes, I have used dollies to move trailers. Most dollies do not have enough muscle to move tandem axle trailers anywhere but straight forward or straight back. They work well on most single axles in all directions. You will probably have to special order a unit, I just don't know anyone in East Tennessee that handles them and/or keeps them in stock.

I have a tandem and use a non motored one. Of course I don't have but maybe 15 feet to push it in.

I wanna say I've seen them on Northern Tool's site before. Its been a few years though.

We build non motored ones here at the plant.

That thing looks awesome, but if you have a four wheeler have someone weld a hitch on the front of it. You can move a trailer around with the front hitch much easier than the back. I had a custom built bumper on my Dodge truck that had a reciever mount in it just for this.

Or a riding mower...
