check over your boat and trailer before fishing season gets in full swing.

Look over the axles and hubs for any sign of leaks. Make sure your oil hubs are filled to the correct level (if equipped) and your grease hubs have been repacked. Check wheels for looseness and tires for proper inflation and tread.

Check the trailer pads and brake fluid level if equipped.

Check the trailer ball and hitch for tightness and make sure the safety chains are good to go.

Check the tie down and pull straps for fraying or tears.

Check and fill all wet batteries to the proper level with distilled water. Check cables for tightness and clean as needed.

Check the prop nut and make sure thereare no obstructions to the water intake of the engine. Look for any leaks around the foot area. If oil can get out, water can get in. It's much less expensive to fix it now.

Make sure your oil tank is full of the proper oil.

And don't forget the lights.

I'm sure there's more.
