how did everybody do?, got 7 this morning from 7:00 to 11:30 and limit this evening from 5:30 till dark. Much better than opening day hunt not as hot with cloud cover either. happy hunting

We emoEnforce a few of the little beasties yesterday. We weren't covered up, but I shot amazingly well (for a change). Plus several folks in the field donated their dove... they will NEVER go to waste in the Simms household. So we're having a lit dove cookout tonight. emoHungry Yum Yum!

Oh yea... last picture my daughter had to take after I chased a cripple down through a briar patch. I'm surprised it was in focus because she was laughing the whole time. emoLaugh

Dang Richard...I never thought of dove hunting as a dangerous sport where you could get hurt. emoLaugh You had better watch those little buggers they might sneak up and get ya. emoLaugh Nice pictures. emoThumbsup Jmax

Ours was TERRIBLE. Field was being cut while we were there, so it had not had time to get birds in. Might have seen 30 birds total all afternoon.

we were hunting on a private field that had 9 hunters in the morning total of 69 birds. and just me and my son and two others in the evening getting a limit. best hunt i ever had, so the .410 racked up a few that evening! good eating
