Down South Bait and Tackle

Ever since Hamilton's went away the "Wolfteever region" of 58 has been without a bait shop (to my knowledge) I noticed the other day that there is a "Down South Bait and Tackle" over close to Hardee's. I haven't had a chance to go in there yet. Have any of you guys checked them out??

I don't think many people did... its kinda tucked out of eye shot from the highway. I really hope its a decent shop, I HATE driving all the way to town for my goodies haha

I went in there last week and they have a good selection of baits and some really nice looking shiners and minners.

Seem to be really nice folks and knowledgeable about fishing locally.

We carry a full line of live bait including Tuffies, shiners, night crawlers, crickets, red worms, meal and wax worms, skipjack and chicken liver. We are trying to stock only what we know works and keeping the prices low , so its not an arm and a leg to buy good quality tackle and bait. I went in for a visit yesterday morning after work. SUPER nice folks!! They are still in the process of getting the store stocked up fully, but after talking to Matt it's not gonna be stocked with over priced JUNK. He's gonna be stocking the good stuff, and things that are known to work around here. Also the prices are REALLY good. Needless to say, I am super excited and I hope they are around for the long haul so I can give them my money lol
