Tried to make itto donate to Tim and Company but were unable to get to the water in time. Decided to drive on up to CFP and prefish for CFF. Headed to first spot upriver and within 30 minutes of fishing had put 7-8 fish in the boat, unfortunately all were short. At that point we caught 2 keepers before hitting a dry spell interrupted by losing a good fish at the boat. Moved to opposite side of slough and started catching a few quality fish, including two in the 3.5 pound range that put us up around 9 pounds total. Moved back toother side of slough and noticed some large bass sitting around a submerged light. After some planning on how to get past cross boards, I backed up and skipped a senko under dock. First time it spooked them. Second time I wrestled a 2.5 pounder out from under the dock. Always fun to wrestle one out when you do somethingnot the norm. The main characteristic of a good bite was grass we were able to feel and pop off of on bottom.

After midnight-thirty headed back to a spot in between slough and ramp. Finding mostly dead grass, we finally found some quality fish around the lights, with us catching 8 more fish, including a 3.5 and a Dusty getting a 4.5 to get us up over11 pounds for 3 fish. Not great, but better than it has been. Ended up night catching 25 fish, with best being 4.5. All fish caught with various missile/strike king/zoom worms and a single senko fish and most caught in 8-12 feet of water.
