We headed to our first spot, and stayed all day in shallow grass and on a flat next to bass and bream spawning areas. Caught 25 total and 10 keeper fish, with a 3 fish total of 11.87. Caught first keeper on a Sammy, then two more on topwater before bite disappeared. Caught rest of fish on creature baits and swimbaits, with all but two fish coming in 2-5 feet of water. Largest bass caught under deep dock on creature bait. Hit and fought like catfish, so I was trying to rush it in to get off the hook when it jumped right by the boat and we realized it was a largemouth. Could not get enough cull on third keeper, only being able to cull a few ounces at a time, which proved to be too much to overcome. All fish caught on LC Sammy, Scrounger and Missile Baits swimbait, SK Poison Tail, Berkley and Missile Baits creature baits. Got back to HB a little before two but due to lack of courtesy at boat ramp did not get out of water until nearly 2:30. Congrats to JMax, ChooChoo, Rudy, Shad, Stephen, and Billy on taking home some money.

Below ispicture of two of the fish we weighed Saturday. The one inmy left hand was giving me fits so the Pic is not the best...

Not a bad three fish limit at all. There have been many of our tournaments that limit there would have won. emoAngel Jmax

Thought we had a decent bag, butdoing so many of the weigh-ins I realize that small one will always kill you, especially in a 3 fish tournament. Congrats on the win and the big fish. You guys and Rudy/Chris had good days, as well as Billy and Stephen.
