We have been donating our entry fees to the guys on the CFF Tournament Trail all year so we thought it would be even better to donate it to a worthy cause, the Christopher J. Robertson "Never Give Up" Cancer Benefit Tournament. We blasted off boat #20 and headed to the same place we started on Friday night, looking to find some isolated grass. We arrived and started to find plenty of fish, the problem was two-fold; they were too small, and/or we could not get them in the boat. One of those days when the bite was weird and the fish did not want to stay hooked. We lost at least 8-10 fish in the early morning, including at least two keeper fish. We did manage one keeper in our first spot on a Sammy in the middle of the slough before we finally moved to our second spot. Pitching to the shade, caught two fish on consecutive casts, one 16 inches long and the other a tad short, giving us our second keeper. Finally moved again and caught our largest fish on a laydown in 8 feet of water on a worm. Made one last move and we caught 2-3 more fish, but none that would help us. It was the hottest day I have fished this year.28 fish caught on a variety of baits, including Sammy, Scrounger, Jig, Big Worm, and little worm.

Congrats to those whotook home some hardware, and those who contributed to make this tournament a great event. Seth Coleman is the man!
