It rained all day Friday so I figured it would be the same way Friday night. I did not think it would rain the ENTIRE time like it did. Once we blasted offI headed downriver and figured I could bag a quick limit. About ten minutes after I started fishing I hooked the first big fish, unfortunately a large drum. Got it up to the boat and was able to get the hook loose with it still in the water. Another ten minutes and I hooked the first big catfish, which I battled around the boat and after a few minutes got it with the fish grip and unhooked it. When I went to put it back in the fish shook loose and luckily for me, he sat there long enough to grap the grip, otherwise it would have been lost. Lots of fun, but burning up my daylight. Then caught first keeper, a 16 inch spot, before catching another large catfish, which I finally got in the boat and unhooked. I spent probably 20 minutes of daylight battling junk fish. Finally caught first bigger largemouth, approximately 4 pounds, on a 4 inch craw. Then started catching small spots, all keeper at 12 inches but did not even bother to throw them in the livewell. Moved around 10:30 to downtown and fished the rip rap, catching three more keeper size spots and two short largemouth on a spinnerbait. Finally around 12:30 I caught a 13 inch spot that I threw in the the livewell to complete a limit. Lost two more larger fish before heading to the dock about 1:40. Total fish caught was 20, with the three junk fish. Got home and laid out all my equipment to dry...

Congrats tothose who received $ andthanks to those who came out.
