CFF 2 started out with a fog delay, and we slow moved up driver until almost Baylor school where the fog lifted. Despite pulling water at an incrediblerate, we decided to stick to our initial plan an run upriver. Once we arrived we quickly found out the current was not going to cooperate. Caught a quick crappie, then hooked and lost a big fish (probably a drum or catfish). At that point we tried to get away from the strong current. I quickly hooked a big fish only to pull in the first big drum of the day. We finally ended up at one of the Marinas, where Dusty finally caught a good 3 pounder on a crankbait. From there we made a stop, where as the riverboat came upon us I hooked the second drum of the day, a monster. Finally got it in and unhooked. With time running out we stopped at Raccoon Mountain Pumped Storage Plant, where I got an initial bump, but the current would not let us stay on our spot. Headed back towards Sullivans, where I finally got a keeper on a shaky head 5-10 minutes before we loaded up.

Lesson to learn...If I had to do it over again I would have gone to the lake, and looked for a little clearer water.Cold early, but ended up being a good day. Fish caught on crankbaits, missile creature baits, strike king rage craws, and missile craw.
