What a beautiful morning at the Dead Sea! Perfect temperature, water temp 75 degrees, slight North wind, sunny, and a perfect day for casting practice. That's all we got. emoBang emoBang emoBang

The first 30 minutes, we each did hook up a fish which was probably a bass, but since we didn't see either one, we are calling it a drum. emoBigsmile We were fishing jigs. After looking and casting to many points, banks, docks, etc. without another bite, we decided to scan some docks and try to salvage our day with some Black nose crappie.

They must have been Black hearted crappie because we never got a single bite. We scanned a bunch of docks and some deep brush, but all the crappie must have migrated up to the Woods Reservoir dam area. emoBang

With the bite being non-existent, Rick suggested that we call it a day and plan for our trip to the Chickamauga on Tuesday. I was in full agreement with him. I am including the only pic that I took today. Beautiful lake, lousy fishing. I'm thinking that maybe Bent Rod may be the jinx. emoPoke emoBigsmile emoGeezer
