No this one is not from KY or out west, this one is from Flat Top MT in Dunlap. emoBigsmile Went yesterday on opening morning of the regular gun hunt for TN and swayed in the trees up in a climber. emoEek Talk about some high winds. A couple small bucks were taken and this monster of a TN beauty was also downed by one of our members, Scott Woodall. Hard to tell in the pictures but it is a 12 pt. A typical ten with two countable stickers coming off one of the bases. emoWorthy Really a nice deer Scott, congrats again, it will look really nice on your wall if your better half will let you hang it there. emoPoke
Our club has had decent results so far. Scotts brother Larry took a nice large seven point with his muzzle loader, also there were two eights and another seven as well as a couple more smaller bucks and some doe in the black powder hunt taken. Yesterday I saw one small buck and one doe that I let walk. I believe with the super moon we have had, the deer have been moving more at night. Then add the lack of rain and dry conditions it has been a tough start. Up where we are hunting the bucks are just coming into rut and the doe into estrus. emoTongue
I know there had to be some more successful hunts yesterday, lets see some pictures. emoDance Jmax
