anybody know where we can get some dry ice? Trying to send a care package overseas for the 4th and want to make sure the contents arrive in good shape.

Get off at east brainerd road at interstate75 and go like your going to gunbarrel road. keep going strait on e. brainerd road instead of turning left on gunbarrel. Its probly 3 to 5 miles past gunbarrel rd. Appison is a little town.

I called them they do not carry it. The guy I talked to said the new locations (Hixson) will carry it.

here is some places I got off the internet. (aka I do not know how good the info is)
Tennesee Valley Ice
South Creek Road, Chattanooga, TN 37406
phone: (423) 698-6290

Dry Ice Sales
Chattanooga, TN 423-622-6408

Turnbull Cone Baking Co
Chattanooga, TN 423-265-4551

Thanks... I think Foodsaver called all these guys and they are out of business or out of that business. We need it to send BBQ to the troops for the 4th! Appreciate the help. I'll call all of them tomorrow. The Hixson Publics doesn't look as though it will be open anytime soon.

Tennesee Valley Ice says they will participate to get BBQ to the troops! Otherwise it's $14.95 for a 25 lb minimum purchase. The other two listed above are disconnected numbers. Thanks guys! Appreciate the help!!!!

These guys were very generous to me today and helped us support our troops by providing the required amount of dry ice at NO CHARGE! If any of you are in need of ice, and these guys have A LOT OF ICE, give them your business. Can't ask anything more than what they provided us today!!!!

way to go foodsaver and NA. emoThumbsup most folks have no idea just how much stuff like that is appreciated and enjoyed by the troops. emoUSA i cant begin to tell you how much it meant to me and the brothers i served with
when we got stuff like that .

my grandmother would send packages as often as she could filled with cherry, apple, buttermilk pies and all sorts of cookies.
i still thank her for that every time i talk to her and that was more than a few years ago that she did that (1st gulf war)
