We got in and started fishing around 8:30 or so this a.m. and it took a few minutes for troit to home in on those little critters and when he did we boater 12 right off the bat and oicked up 5 more here and there. cool nut a delightful day on the water with a good friend. Our other friend clled us to tell us how warm he was, but it didn't bother ole troit or me. we were catching fish and thats all that mattered. caught most of them on a magic worm and some on a green grub. they seemed to be in 13-14 ft of water on the north bank. the magic worm is something that a person ask me not to spread it to far and wide and i respect his wishes.

good job guys .. and I'm glad you specified that the magic worm was the name of something that is really known by another. Do you know how crazy I get google searching all this stuff you guys write so I can be informed when there is no such thing.

:)

I didn't get out until 10:30 and didn't get on the fish that I caught until around 11:00, but I knew that the fish would have been active earlier. Catching them on the "magic" worm gives me an idea and you know what happens when I get an idea. I'll go crazy until next time that I get to fish. That won't be until the 20th of February or later. Going to NY next week. emoDoh emoGeezer

Have a good trip there Mr DK hope to see you when you get back, maybe get out there and put some magic on them.

Villers, Villers you know I don't talk that much, you've been listen to your dad to much about coaches you and John had in JR high.

I have to take care of triot there FA he's the one that parks us on the fish. He'll be real tough now with that new GPS unit on his baot. The water temp was 40.5 when we started and we saw 45+ degrees b 4 we left.

I'm realy looking foward to my GPS unit this spring-summer. I couldn't imagine the Drum King with one.

In a matter of weeks every fish in the lake would have ( the property of DK ) stamped on it.

The Manuel may be as thick as the Webster Dictionary but if it applies to fishing I feel confident Mr. Troit will figure it out! I guarantee you that!

It was great that you guys were able to get out there and catch a few. Hopefully you'll be able to get out and catch more soon.

Y'all need to be careful - Shocker is known to hold back a little - or exagerate!!! Only way to know for sure is to hear Troit's side of the story - that guy's downright truthful!! Troit is the Crappie King!!! And he can catch bass too.

On the other hand .............You are right on with Mr. YELLOW LINE, CRAPPIE MASTER, BASS CATCHER .........Mr. D Troit!!!!!!!!!!

Well thanks guys, that really helps my integrity. There's nothing like a good vote of confindence from two of the most highly sought after guys in the whole world of the most wanted. I don't know why there are so sought after. I've done got DTroits permission to make this post on his behalf.

I've been with the man when he catches fish, he weighs them. And he might talk the paint off a jig, but I don't see him stretching the truth.
