I have an Eagle 642 gps unit . It started blinking any suggestions on what could be wrong.

Try a soft reset. Hold the pages and power key and see if that works. If not you can do a hard reset by holding zoom in zoom out and power at same time but you will lose waypoints if you haven't saved to sd card on the hard reset. Make sure you remove any mapping cards before reset. Hope this helps.

I'd say call Lowrance, they might fix your unit if under warranty or upgrade you to the Elite Series which took place of Eagle. 1-800-324-1356
