Just thought I`d throw it out.....The show has been moved to newer much larger venue. I went by Friday before snow started. It is so much better many more vendors and plenty of boats. The new place is huge and I would guess there was close to 3-400 people there at 2:00 pm. Plenty of room to look around. Lots of new vendors for anything you want.

Went Saturday, yes , it is much improved. Many new vendors and small lure manufacturers that were not at the shows at the Jacobs building. Plenty of space inside, plus on one level. Certainly going next year.

Went yesterday. Like the new facility better than the other. One level and spread out. You can actually look at boats instead of feeling like you're in a maze trying to get out. Alot of custom rod and lure companies. Hope they continue to have it at the new location.

I want to know how many people went to a gun show expecting a fishing show. I'll admit I did. haha

I liked that they had both on the same weekend. Picked up some swimbaits at a decent deal, got a steal on a Diawa crappie rod and reel. Afterwards stopped by the gun show and actually got a really good deal on a new AR. About 125$ cheaper than anywhere else I had looked, even pointed at laughed at all the protesters. Wife and kids wanted to go to Pigeon Forge so this was a nice stop on the way. lol

I'd bet money the protesters left Magnolia Street when the sun went down!
I wouldn't go there with 2 guns after dark.

Snuffy, how in the world did I miss you. We were there from about 12:30 til 6:30. I taught a 30 minute seminar on off shore crappie fishing. emoBigsmile emoGeezer

DK I just saw on another post that you were there and was wondering how I didn`t see you. I had several stops that day before I got there andreally wanted to just kind of Breeze thru and then come back Saturday or sunday. I finally found the club I used to fish and hung out there longer than I planned. It was starting to snow some when I got there. My eyes kind of glaze over when I go to these shows...almost too much to look at. My fishing has kind of slowed down the last couple of years .I`ve done more crappie fishing the last couple of years.I saw your booth as I finally made my self hit the door since it was starting to get nasty and I had about a 45 minute drive to get to the house. I`ll get down you way hopefully this year and holler at you !

Curtis Bunch and his wife Sheila have really done great job upgrading the show. I`ve really enjoyed watching Curtis build his business over the years. I remember when it was just him and his Grandpa.
