I know alot of you really like to take your time and marinade/season/grill your stuff to perfection. I'm right there w/ ya most of the time, but heres a good recipe for great ribs thats freakin' EASY.
Take a pack of baby rack ribs and cut 'em in slabs. Set 'em on any flat baking pan. (might want to spread a little vegetable oil on the pan just so the meat wont stick). Put those in the oven for 2 hours on 250 degrees and forget about it. When time is up slather some BBQ sauce on them and grill on the lowest heat possible for 30-45 minutes.
Thats all there is to it.
Given the hassle and effort you save, these are AWESOME.
. . . .now just wait til I join the ranks of you guys that have the high-falutin' smokers.
:)

Lookin good man. Probably better then when I tried to do ribs! If you want a smoker go to www.bbq-brethren.com and find the thread on the ugly drum smoker. You can join the ranks for under 50 bucks and have a darn good smoker that turns out some great que.

Holy crap I had no idea you could get smokers for that much. I kind of always assumed they were all upwards of several hundred bucks. Might have to do something 'bout this...
Dude-not a big time beer guy, and when I am, (I admit this freely) its almost always girl beer. Just "cheerleader water" for me, please. emoToast

about the only non-girl beer I really dig is el presidente

Dude.....ribs I can handle, no smoker, you gotta do something, but those beans gotta go. Those look at best frozen, at worst canned....just say no! If you need the ruffage, go with a nice salad.
Now, on the beer, I am also with ya...."cheerleader water" for me too. emoThumbsup

Josh you can't "get" a smoker for $50 but you can build one for about that much if you have some tools and a little knowledge about using them. BTW the drum smoker is as good a cooking tool as any of the high priced grill/smokers. It is not the cooker it is the cook.

I prefer grilled ribs rather than smoked, myself.

I wrap mine in Saran Wrap, then aluminum foil, bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes (no longer or the Saran Wrap will melt), then let them cool, slather them with my secret BBQ sauce, and then grill 'em for about 30 minutes. Then, if you put one of them on top of your head, your tongue will slap your brains out trying to get to them.

Is that milk, with ribs, I;d take the Cheerleader water. ALso Everyone know the best ribs are cooked no hotter than 225F, but personally I have turned to the smoked butt as my favorite. Those ribs the girl is holding should have split down the middle from being soooooooooo tender. Just kiddingm thanks for the recipe, I thought you were going to tell us to boil them,
