Guys, please bring enough ice and water treatment to take care of your fish. This is going to be a long and hot tournament. I know a lot of people will turn there aerators on slower cycles or turn them off to conserve battery. Don't do this it will kill fish. If you are worried about your battery then fish with the big motor running for a while.

Sign up locations:

Hamilton's Sport Shop
Soddy Custom Tackle
Chattanooga Fish-N-Fun
Tri-State Bait and Tackle
Nichols Marine

I look forward to seeing everyone out on Saturday.

Don't forget about the mid-season rule change. You can only weigh 1 dead fish with a 1/2 pound penalty, and you cannot cull a dead fish. If you cull a dead fish it is immediate disqualification from the event.

So, let's say someone screws up and has two die. You cannot weigh in more then one dead. You cannot cull a dead fish. Does that person leave the second dead fish in the live well and weigh in just four? Or should they bring it on up and declare the second dead fish so it is not left in the well and then weigh in their four. I know in the past we have always been told that if it appears more then two are struggling to let them go and try to replace them before they die. But in this case how would a person need to handle that? emoScratch Jmax

If you have a fish die and then have one that is struggling but not dead yet, I would recommend pitching it before it dies and trying to get another keeper. If you want to bring two dead fish to the scale or want to leave one in your livewell and bring 4 to the scales that is the choice of the angler.
