It's hard to believe that the 2013 CFF regular season trail has come to an end. I had a blast with it all again this year. I want to say first of all, congratulations to Leonard and Tonya Steele for wrapping up the Angler of the Year Points Championship. WTG you two!
We did have a surprise celebrity this morning fishing with us. FLW Touring Pro Mr. Jacob Wheeler! The FLW Forrest Wood Cup Winner of 2012 {a $500,000.00 pay check} graced us with his presence and then very politely went out and spanked us by winning the TX! He was very nice and talked openly with several participants.
Moses and I started out looking good this morning. We had two keepers {2.2 lbs. each} in the box and a short fish in the first 20 minutes on a spinner bait. I thought here we go! But then we only caught one little spot and some more short fish the rest of the day. That was it! Congrats to all the winners. Hope to see everyone again at the two day CFF Classic.

After I talked with you guys I hit the big sand bar with grass out on the river ledge and caught my limit. Turns out I should have weighed them in but I was sure I would be WAY out of the money. This was one of those odd days where the weights were just small with a few exceptions.

Now Earl we all would have beleived your report until you said that mose and i started out looking good. Oldman said you ain't ever looked good. LOL

Ok Terry, correction, we weren't "looking" good, we were just feeling good. Then it went down hill fast! If oldman says your looking good, you better watch out. I have noticed that he can get a funny look in his eye at times. I just not real sure about him?
