This fishing report is just too good not to post. Now this is all second hand information to me so if I make a mistake or say something wrong i apologize to everyone before the fact. Ronnie and Leonard fished the Lafayette City Lake groups first Tx. event of 2021 Sunday. As i understand they were the last boat coming out of the water and preparing to weigh their "bag" of fish. A number of participants were already standing around and waiting there at the ramp to get the final results. Someone then told Ronnie and Leonard that no one had a fish to weigh in and if they had a keeper they would win the Tx. and the big fish pot! Ronnie had caught one 12 in. Bass (legal in Georgia) and had kept the fish. They won the whole event with that one 12 in. Bass! So don't toss your fish back no matter how small they may be 'cause you never know until the weigh in is over! In the future we will need to change Ronnie's moniker from Ronnie (Meatman) Sexton to Ronnie (One Fish) Sexton!
