Emory river toothy critter 4-27-2006

went on the Emory today and bass fished with good results. Caught alot of bass on plastic lizard, the biggest about three lbs. Then caught this muskie in about four foot of water an a SB around some fallen trees in a small cove. Saw her come out and nail it. Tried to land it but as you see in the second pic, that did not go so well.emoBang

This fish was about 15 lbs and 36" long

Didnt yo momma ever tell ya not to play with sharp objects. grab a musky with net or behind the head pressing in on gill plates, then use pliers to take out hook. They bite dont ya know.

I actually grabbed him behind the gills, and when I did she flopped real good and I lost grip, then OUCH.

Yeah, DHaun almost lost his nose to a Garr last night.

Yeah, I think I need some boga grips or at least a pair of welding gloves to avoid those mishaps.
