We have a 1998 Mercury 150. It runs and starts great except the fule line empties. . If we idle through no wake zone the fuel line will lose its prime and die. I have to pump the bulb to start it back up. Recently it does this after we fish a spot for a while and take off to move.
Any ideas?

I know that one ,,, The check valve in the bulb is bad and allowing the fuel to loose pressure and to run back away from the engine. Change the bulb. Wally world and marine dealers have kits where you can replace the bulb and lines. Cheap and easy fix.

As jbh3 said above go with the ethanol safe fuel lines.
