Wow, congrats Eric.I didn't realize the record for drum on 6 lb test was 16.6 pounds. My dad caught a 16 pound 10 ounce one back in March fishing for crappie.

Thanks everyone, and a special thank you to you Richard! I just checked, and the freshwater drum on 6 lb has been accepted and now holds the World Line Class record. Two others (caught a few days later and on different line classes) are still pending!

I also want to thank Steve Whisler for the info that put me on these fish. He shortened my learning curve on this species & method, and this is one of the reasons that I pass on so much of what I have learned, especially about blue cats, to others. This is the true beauty of the CFF.
