Biofisher wants to get some crappies later this week so I tried my best to find some. Got out just after 7 pm and fished for about 5 min. on a dock that was covered up with little fish two weeks ago but none today. Ran to a brushpile that gave up a bunch then too but there was someone else fishing it so I headed to Harrison bay. Fished an area with a lot of submurged stumps in 2-7 feet of water and it started off slow but picked up like crazy at dusk. Caught 6 fish under the limit and 13 by 8:25pm. Decided to stop because I thought that I might be near my limit and was glad that I stopped. That was some of the best crappie fishing that I had ever had and the best for sure in such shallow water. At dusk the fish were in 2-3 feet of water and had a fish on most casts. The fish are shallow and if you know where some stumps are in 2-7 feet of water you can catch a boatload.
