evening on the chick 7-20

Well a short trip to the lake fishing in the evening is better than a long evening at home watching t.v.. Not as a good a report as RRB32, but o.k. for 2 1/2 hrs fishing on the lake, I have done worse. I had two keepers, 2-1/2 lbs each and two slicks, and I mean slicks. The slicks hit a 10" worm, all fish on a c r Big skip jack were busting all around me but no bass.

shocker, I'm glad that you got into some fish. What type of structure/cover were you fishing? Did you get many bites?

Mr. polo dog good to hear from you, hey I was fishing a little cut in a hump on the m. c. and I had been catching some good bass there but it was a little slow that evening. I had caught five keepers there one evening last week. I was of course looking at the map and saw it soon after the map reading coures you and mr mad bomer put on. I thought I had a little knowledge of map reading, but after the meeting I foun out that I only knew hot to unfold it. Thank for the effort you and M.B. put into it.

Your right, Any time on the lake is better than sitting at home. The other morning I was out, there were skipjack busting shad minnows also. I casted into the commotion but no bass either. I've been a couple times during the evenings and havent done much good. Seems as thought the only good consistant bite for me is early morning.

shocker, I am glad to hear that something that we said was worthwhile. I sure had a good time that night. Too much of me talking however. Wow, a cut through a hump on the main channel. I can think of a couple of places like that. One in particular that I have never fished looked really good. I'll have to see if it was the same one. You have a PM.

Hey RRB32, the only time if have had any good luck is the evening in or just down river of ditches in about 14- 17 ft of water. I've been using a 10" worm light color and also a purple color. I haven't even had to down size any to the goto bait tubes. I was sitting on a hump close to the harrison thur. night tx and I had caught four nice keepers and lost a nice fish, fishing a little hump below a ditch. stay after them they are there, Or thats what I keep telling myself. have a gooden
