Evening out with the wife 8-9-2006

[Fishing machine]

Got the wife, stopped and pick up a pizza. emoHungry and went out on the pantoon boat to do a little catfishing next to the dam. ( first caught a couple of bluegill for bait ) Anchor the boat next to the dam and put out three rods and started on that pizza. On about the third piece, the bass were all around me in the jumps. I stood there and caught between 25 & 30 bass ( largemouth ) that were 12 & 14 inches long. had a ball emoBigsmile Got one to the boat that looked to be 3 or 4 lbs. but he broke my 4lb. test on my little ultralite. I caught them on a little inch and a half plastic crappie minnow. ( end up with one nice catfish ) Really enjoyed being out with the misses, the fish was just a bounus.

Sounds like you had a blast. I wish that I could get my wife to go out with me sometime. I'll have to work on that. Fish in the jumps are a great time too. How long were they in the jump there?
