RE: Evening out with wife

Way to go, always fun to take the wife out, especially when they catch one.

BTW Is the camera angle or is that just a funny looking channel cat?

I used to take my wife with me from time to time. However, she was a smartalec and always caught bigger fish.... and I had to take a portable tollet along. what's the matter with hanging over the side....????
a lovely pic of a lovely wife will brighten everyones day..... she done good...emoAngel

AIN'T GOD GOOD????

LOL! I smiled like that when she caught me!

I just wish we had more time together but times like this are just priceless.
Yes, God is good!

I wonder why someone hasn't invented a floating portapotty garage. You know something you can pull into with your boat and jump out for a moment ... take care of business ... get back in the boat and drive back out!!! Could call it a Lakotty .. for Lake Potty. Girls would appreciate it and so would their male boat mates!!! Be alot easier to zoom into a Lakotty and do your business than taking us all the way back to some marina. As for hanging over the boat ... that ain't going to happen! And IF I was desperate enough to try that ... I'd never get back in the boat!!!

I have discovered some items of interest for ladies who prefer to take care of business while on the water in a less conspicuous manner. At KMart I found plastic bags that a girl can use to P in, has a cup that fits in all the right places and it has some material in it that forms a gel. It makes waste removal a lot more viable and doesn't create a mess. You just toss it in the trash on your way home! No hanging over the boat creating a scene .. or worse yet and probably MY problem .. falling out and not being able to get back in. No inconvience to the male in the boat ... you can do this anywhere inconspicuously.

But I would prefer a Lakotty! Any body looking for a business idea???? :)

LOL.....maybe I need to get your wife to train me!!!! My hubby goes fishing any time he wants but he just don't take me. Then again, having to move all the time because you are outfishing the person in control of the boat ain't much fun either. :( As for the relief thingy... Have you tried hanging over the side? Not easy and can really be embarrassing when you get caught by total strangers. If I cant see that view of me... dont want anyone else to either.emoTongue

Nice post BBass. Glad you got to spend time together. Sometimes its not just getting to fish but just the time spent together. My wife used to go with me and it was our escape from the world. It's where we worked out all our problems and just had time to talk things over. Might have jabbered about the car or even a trip to town or just anything but it was some of the best times we ever got to spend together. emoThumbsup ususally took a bucket of chicken and a loaf of bread and just stayed out as late as we could. Always knew when we came home the real world would be waiting...emoLaugh Enjoy those times.. cause they never come around again..

Back in the days when I had my 14 ft Aluma Craft, my wife would go out with me and drink a few CB's. Of course, she would tell me when I needed to pull the boat up onto the bank so she could go hide behind a tree and do whatever she did while hiding behind a tree.

Anyway, after I got my shiny new HydraSport, I refused to pull it up onto the bank!! Once, I did hold it off the bank while she did her thing, but after that, I said no more! I offered to bring along a padded toilet seat to place over the livewell, and she actually did use the livewell once, but I think that may be the last time she went out in the boat with me.

She was not a very good sport about the whole thing!!

Another thing. A trip on the water with my wife was not about fishing, It was sunbathing & book reading. I had to pick a spot where I could fish without cranking the big motor for at least two hrs. I wish she would go with me again!
