okay, pulled it off the boat and i could not find a model number anywhere. All I can tell you is it is a Evinrude Scout 12 / 24v foot control trolling motor. I used it all summer and never had the 1st problem. Shaft length is 36".
My boat is a 19' Fish & Ski and weighs 2000 lbs dry - so a fairly heavy boat. It pulled the boat fine EXCEPT on really windy days like we were getting in the fall, , going into the wind was very slow - slow enough where i avoided it if at all possible.
Wish i could find a model number so I could tell you the thrust, but that is all I know.
The ONLY thing wrong with it is the rope/cable that you pull to release it from the mount and raise and lower it broke this summer. I never got around to replacing it and just did it by hand.
I live in Tullahoma and will be more than happy to hook it up so you can see it run.
Don't know much else to say. All the speeds seem to work fine (3 speed), - oh, a couple of times the on button stuck in the on position when I pushed it - I just tapped it with my foot and it turned off. happened maybe 3 times all summer. Was going to just spray some WD-40 on it and kept forgetting as it happened so rarely.
Will get pics soon. Feel free to ask any questions tho you probably know about as much as I do now.
Does $75.00 sound pretty fair ?
I guess I could also be interested in trading it, not sure for what. Maybe a nice rod for a spinning reel ( I normally like 6'6 or 7', medium or medium light action), a nice spinning reel - I don't know. Doesn't hurt to ask me - all I can say is thanks anyway...............
Oh, I know - I doubt it, but maybe some planer boards, a dual planer board ? Chamberlain releases for a downrigger (obviously would have to throw in something else) - I could use another nice tackle box - tho I am old school and i like the tray type.
Anyway, if interested in trading for it just throw some stuff together that you think would be fair and ask away.
