Noticed a nice bass floating yesterday morning. I trolled over to check it out and it was a 3-4 lb bass. It was obvious he had been floating awhile due to discoloration on his side that was up. We noticed it had something hanging out of its mouth. I picked it up and it was large bluegill stuck in its mouth. As all this was going on the bass barely twitched, it was still alive. I removed the bluegill and after minutes of resuscitation it swam away. It was cool but it would have been awesome if he had thanked us by biting or telling his friends to bite, slow morning.
