FA declares MB "Lousy Guide" 7-10-06

FA and I launched in Soddy Creek about 7:00 and fished until about noon. Fishing was very slow. I (MB) caught 4 or 5 shorts and FA struck out!! Caught a couple an a fire tiger deep little N and a couple on a chatterbait.

I offered to refund Fat Albert's money, and then I realized he didn't pay any! Old Grouch, next time, he gets to be the guide!!

Hey MadBomber, tell FA to put a hook on the end of his line next time and he might catch one. I noticed when I took him to Watts Bar all those many years ago, that he couldn't catch anything up there either. I'll bet that he is the healthiest person in town. He can even catch a cold. heh heh heh.emoGeezer

He was really tired, I had to twist his arm last night to get him to go. He's been calling too many ball games.

Absolutely, the sorriest guide job that I have seen in all my life... he twisted my arm and did not feed me or anything.. made me stand on one foot the whole time and then giggled when he was catching fish... sorry. However, it was a glorious time to be back on the water with a good friend... I did have a rod and reel in my hand the whole time... did not eject any coach or fan.... loved every minute of the day... I AIN'T NO GROUCH JUST AN ADVISOR.. lol there will always be the next time.... Ain't that what the Alabama folks say..???emoLaugh emoScratch emoGeezer

Yes, I was wide awake..emoCool however, I could do this in my sleep... MB always grunts when he set the hook, so I know what's coming.. He did do a bad job guiding.. I will do better next time. LOLemoGeezer

You should go fishing with me and then you would appreciate Madbombers guide service! You guys should check right below the dam. When I drove by there today there were so many minnows flipping in the current that it looked like the water was boiling. I dont know if anything was eating them but the bait was there.
