It was going to be my day to shine and I did...we got to river park ~8:30 and it was closed down for the stuff that is going on tonight with all the decorated boats.  Had to go to the old ramp behind Chatt. State. Sorry place to put a boat in with 10 flood gates opened and all the turbines running...Water temp 53 degrees and flying down the river.  Now listen up,  I had the MB 6 to zip and he was growing to the panic state.  Dang, he hooked DRUM weighed about 4 lbs.  got the skunk off of him.  sigh of relief. I caught 3 more fish ...had him 9 to 1... I just knew the post was going to be a happy time for me...  Then it happened, he pulled the ole bandit trick on me and caught 10 straight to my zero.. I had 4 SM and 4 spots and a great big ole shad.  MB caught a bunch of trashy fish to beat me 11 to 9.  He did have 2 real nice spots.  All the spots went home to be cleaned by the MB.  We did have 10 spots.  My wife said she wasn't goin to clean any fish. There were lots of fishermen out below the dam today..  All the RIP-RAP   was covered.  I caught my fish on a jig and smoke grub.. We did have a wonderful time on such a beautiful day.... I was afraid we were going to have to stay until dark for him to catch and go ahead of me.. You know how he is....  He has a nice picture that I made of his spot...  he will post later....  Good day I finally caught some fish..

We saw you guys running around today. We would have said hello but the fishing was too good.

FA this spring we will hit the Riverpark and I will put you on some fish and I promise not to front you like MB does.emoBigsmile

<font color="#cc33ff">MB fronting me??? He blames it on the trolling motor.... BTW,  My wife got up this AM and made homemade biscuits and ham with jelly and you were no where around...sooooooooo, see what you missed... next time you ask you better come looking....
