FA & MB on the River 10-31

You can read WS6Clint's post if you want to hear his side of it , but it's actually even worse. Al & I caught maybe 10 or 12 fish total, Al caught 3, I think. Most on a sweet beaver. I lost a 2 -2 1/2 lb Sm at the boat.

But, there we were, minding our own business when Mr Wiskers & Clint showed up. They caught fish behind us, in front of us and beside us. They even insulted and taunted us by first offering us minners and then jigging spoons. We adopted the position that , By Golly, we were going to use what we brung!!

Anyhoo, it's a sad day when the best picture I have is a picture of two other guys with their fish. I guess that's what you get when you fish another's man's hole!!

Gave our spots to a bank Fisherman.

we always have fun though! Michael was able to pass his leftover minners to Alvin. I bet he tore'em up too!

FA, you big dummy, I told you we needed some minners!!!

Hey guys, there is a lot of love that we share on this forum; However, there should be a LAW OF SOME KIND for what you guys done to us today....MB, was not lying about MrW and Clint catching fish all around us today... I have a witness as to how I am treated on the water and MB stayed hung up all day long.. I could have caught more but you know how that is... But we have a good time anyhoo... Yes, Bbass, I know you told me about the minners but you know how stubborn fishermen can be at times... It ain't time fer minners just yet... OR MAYBE IT IS. Great weather, good friends, and fishing. ...Priceless..emoGeezer

I told FA how to get MB to turn the boat around so that he can at least see the bank, but he is so hard headed that he just won't listen. Either that or he is a slow learner and fast forgetter. Probably a combo.emoBigsmile emoGeezer

OK. I realize I'm a newcomer among seasoned veterans here, but.......fair is fair. .emoAngel

I was at the ramp when these gentlemen came in, and I asked if the fact that FA had been "bringing up the rear" might have been a consideration. MB pointed out that he had offered his companion first look and that FA had declined, apparently out of concern that he would look even worse from the front seat. emoEnforce

(Of course, you never know who to believe in a situation like that.) emoScratch
