FactoFuel Lry ine Question

I have a 1/4" fuel line on a 1994 60 HP Mercury. The fuel line bulkhead fitting is 1/4" and the engine connector is 1/4".

Was recently told that 1/4" line is too small and not standard and would starve the engine.

Could you even buy an engine fuel line connector for this engine that was too small? Why would you bother and also change out the bulkhead fitting and the engine fuel line connector?

Opinions Please.

I don't know who told you that but....a V-6 2.0l, 2.4, and 2.5 have 3/8supply from the tank to a connector or a splice down to 5/16 to the fuel pump and then have 5/16 to a filter then 1/4" hose to the carbs. Just my .02
