I’m building a waterfall at my house! Does anyone know who or where I could find fake rock lightweight. I will have a sheet and half of waterproof plywood under my upper decks. I have a small koi pond I’ve built with block and a pond liner. The plywood will come from upper deck and dump into pond! I need lightweight rock to glue on plywood for my waterfall!

Some of the stone companies might have some or know where you can get some. I have fake stone around the bottom of my house but don't remember them being to light but I have slept too many times since then. Good luck.

Home Depot didn’t have them they have real river rock. Looking for polymer not foam as it will be a waterfall

Stone Veneer is pretty light weight. You can buy it at lowes. They put it on the sides of houses. It is a manufactured rock. Very durable. Weight 75% less than real rock. They stick it to plywood on the side of houses.

Soddy Creek, real Creek Rock find some skinny ones
Used to a man could do it. They even used prisoners to load them by hand into trucks but EPA put a haul to removal from the creek.

As far as the waterfall :I wouldn’t use plywood at all. I’d used a rubber liner with Durock and manufactured stone and skim-coat it to the durock. You can find them at Acme brick in Red Bank. Home of the brick rocking chair.

Use rubber cement between liner and duroc. Use liquid nails for adhesive to liner or cement.
Use a fabric liner under the rubber liner to prevent puncture from below. I usually use sand under the fabric as cushion for rubber liner to go on.
Go to The Water Garden in Hixson for materials, advise and anything else.
