Fall creek falls hunt

Has anyone ever hunted the bow hunt coming up at fall creek falls any tips or anyone see some good deer

Ive only hunted it 1 time years ago. I ve got some friends who hunt it every year and they say get as far as you can off the beaten path and you will find the big boys. They usually kill some nice bucks every year up there. They say it's some rough huntin though.

I hunt adjacent property and trust me... Go Hunt it...

1st. pay for a round of golf
2nd. put your bow in your cart
3rd. hope you are better with a bow than I am with a 5 iron

Get lost back in there, if you hunt close to a road, like within 300 yards, your going to be bored stiff. Get a 1/4 mile or more.

The tough part is you can only park at 2 locations. You have to be prepared to hike farther than anyone else.

The place is loaded with deer. The best way to do it is if you have a buddy to hunt with. Drop the buddy off at a spot you want to hunt with all the gear. Then drive back to the designated parking area. Walk or ride a bicycle back to the spot your dropped off everything. Then hike back in to a good spot. If you hunt near the parking areas you will see lots of hunters and very few deer.
