Family & Fun Youth tournament @ Nickajack

The TVBC will be hosting a family fun day Youth tournament at Lake Nickajack on June 2, 2012. We are still working out some of the details, and I will fill them in as we work them out. This is a small entry event with awards to be given to all youth entries. The entry fee is only to cover the awards and the food for all the contestants. We will have lunch catered from Nickajack Bar-B-Que & Outdoors, and FREE for all entries. Plate lunches will also be available at the cost of $5.00 for anyone and everyone that wants to stop by watch this unfold. We are looking for all door prize sponsors that we can find. We are not asking for much, we just want to make sure that all the kids get a little something!! If you are interested in helping, please reply or give me a call at 423-280-8739, or contact another TVBC board member. If you plan to participate in this event, please respond with a reply so that we can try to figure out how much food and awards we need to plan on. Thank you in advance.

Location: Lake Nickajack - Shellmound

Tournament hours: 8:00am - 12:00pm est

Limit: 1 fish......Yes, 1 fish!!!!!
Fish must be as follows: 12" or bigger Spotted Bass, 15" or bigger Large Mouth Bass, 18" or bigger Small Mouth Bass

Entry: $15.00
Each entry must have a youth of 15 years or younger, and an adult of the age 18 years or older. We will allow more than 1 youth per team, but each additional youth will be $5.00 more per team. We will allow more than 1 team per boat. We will allow teams to fish from the bank, but you may not leave the Shellmound recreational area.

Awards: Plaques for 1st - 5th.....other awards for ALL youth entries.

Food Drinks: As stated above, will be catered at the weigh in for ALL contestants. This will be courtesy of Nickajack Bar-B-Que & Outdoors.

What if I bring two youths do i pay $30 and they fish against each other? or does there have to be two adults to make up two teams?

Jeff, the entry is $15.00 for 1 adult and 1 youth. Yes you can fish with more than one youth, and it is $5.00 for each additional youth. For example, you bring three youth's to fish with you, the entry would be, $15.00 + $5.00 + $5.00 = $25.00. Every youth entry will get an award, but the 1st - 5th place plaques will be given out by teams. We are doing our best to gather enough sponosrs to make sure that every youth will also get a door prize!!! We are also going to allow more than one team to be able to fish from one boat.

Do you sign up at boat ramp that morning. We are planning on fishing it, as long as he doesn't have a baseball tournament that morning. Then again he might have to miss ball.
