I have two faria trim gauges. one is for a merc and the other is for a evinrude/johnson. I dont need them anymore and Im tired of seeing them laying around. I would like $10.00 each for them. I think they cost me around $25-30 new. sorry for the bad pics, but its a camera cell phone.

RE: Faria Trim Gauges

evinrude gauge is sold. thanks rudy.
still have the merc.
im not sure what you mean how do you hook it up? there is a trim sending unit on your motor. a wire runs from that sending unit to your gauge (usually a brown wire). then the gauge also has a + and a - wire coming from another gauge or your battery. that hooks to the gauge. also has a light that hooks up to your other gauges that will come on when you hit the light switch. the sending unit is basically a big resistor that restricts the flow of electricity. the change in voltage is what the gauge reads. i think the last time i checked, the all the way up side of the gauge was like 7 volts and the all the way down was like 5 volts. but it has been a while.
sorry for the long explanation, but i wasnt sure what you were asking.
