For some really quick and good hushpuppies, open a box of Jiffy Mix cornbread muffin mix and prepare like the box says, only add some chopped onion jalapenos etc...whatever you like and about 1/4 cup of Tony's Cajun spice in a bowl. Take a melon scoop, it makes the perfect sizehushpuppies, and deep fry for about 5 minites.Quick, easy and very good!

If I had a freezer full of "slabs" like some folks ;) I would definitely give it a try, I like me some fish and hushpuppies!

I know what you mean Mr. S. It won't be long until time to fill that freezer again. The water will cool down and the crappie will be getting hungry.

I've only been 2 times in the past couple of weeks Mr. S. I'm used to getting on the water at least 3 times a week so I know what you mean.

I'm just going to start picking Waconda - Harrison Bay apart and not running up to Soddy Creek, I could afford more trips that way. :)
and if you ever want me to tag along just holla :) I'm not opposed to any seat in a boat.
