Southwest Stew 1 lb. extra lean ground beef

1 medium onion chopped

Brown meat and onion until brown and well done.

Add the following:

1 can pinto beans

1 can rotelle tomatoes

1 can whole kernel corn

1 package Taco Bell Seasoning Mix

1 can stewed tomatoes

1 package Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix

1 can sliced new potatoes--DelMonte

Do not drain vegetables or add another liquid. Simmer for 10 minutes. Stew is best if made the day before to allow the flavors to develop.

Dang ... I was busy all day yesterday and didn't go to the tx to serve soup! It surely would have been good coming in from the lake. If you all plan another tx out of HBSP this winter .. I'll PROMISE to be there for ya!

Anyway ... I'd rather have a soup named after me while I'm alive then a boulevard after I'm dead. <-- I use that alot! :)
