ran off to my favorite creek to try out my new trolling motor, and I got it just in time as the wind proceeded to beat our faces in for the majority of the day. it would have been very tough with my old hand control, but we finally decided to upgrade with a new cable steer and, in retrospect, I can't imagine life without it. caught some fish too. had a handful of keepers with the largest in the area of three pounds. watermelon C-rigged worm and a strike king willow-leaf (sexy shad) Spinnerbait worked for me today. I had my cranking rigged but never touched it. good times.
