Yesterday, we caught so many bass in the steam plant, we were out from 6:30am till 3:00pm and had a blast. We were finesse fishing with the lightest line we could and the smallest lures possible. The warm day really put them right on the bank. Today it is back to cold and ugly. If you see one good day or couple days, gives us a call and we'll set up a memorable trip!

The best largemouths were about 2.5 and 3. We also had one spot around 2, and a couple crappie close to 1. It was a fun day!

What was the water temp at the steam plant? Were you fishing any particular structure or cover in the area? Do you know how many degrees there is in the temp of the water at the steam plant and the water in the lake where the temp isn't influenced by the plant?

The water temp in the plant was in the upper 50's. The water outside the plant was in the mid 40's. We were fishing the bank where the water started clearing from all the mud. Have you every fishihng the steam plant!
